As union members, our responsibility to vote is paramount. Elected officials make all kinds of laws and spending decisions that affect our ability to function as a union and continue being able to support our families as Laborers.

Like it or not, we need the cooperation of elected officials - from the national level right down to local Mayors and city councils - in order to be as successful as we can. It's our responsibility to keep those that recognize the role that unions play in protecting America's middle class in office.
